The hugely popular Zee Bangla serial Phulki has finally wrapped up. Once a consistent chart-topper in the TRP rankings, the show regularly secured a spot in the top five. Recently, Phulki concluded its journey with its 901st episode, marking the end of an emotional chapter for the cast and crew.
Although shooting had wrapped a few days earlier, the team gathered on the final day to celebrate with a cake-cutting ceremony. Emotions ran high as the actors bid farewell — a bittersweet mix of love, nostalgia, and teary-eyed goodbyes.
Even while the serial was airing, rumours had been swirling that the lead actress, Dibyani Mondal, was preparing to make her big-screen debut. Reports suggest that she will be seen in an important role in Srijit Mukherji's upcoming film Emperor vs. Sarat Chandra. Sources also hint that several other film projects are already lined up for her. If that’s true, fans may have to wait a while before she returns to television.
