HUMANITY SHAKEN BY PAHALGAM TERROR ATTACK

Each of us is still trying to process the barbaric attack on innocent civilian men – 24 tourists and two locals in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Meantime, several members of the world of entertainment across the nation have expressed outrage, anger, and condemnation of the incident while asking everyone to remain steadfastly united against the real terrorism.

VIVEK ANAND OBEROI

A shadow of sorrow falls heavy, as news of the horrific terror attack in Kashmir breaks our hearts. Sending deepest condolences and prayers to all the families who have tragically lost loved ones. Now, more than ever, the world must come together in solidarity against such hatred, striving for strength, healing and enduring peace.

ALLU ARJUN

Soo heart broken by Pahalgam Attack. Such a beautiful place with kind-hearted people. Condolences to all the families, near and dear of the victims. May their innocent souls rest in peace. Truly Heart breaking.

BADSHAH MOITRA

No words are enough to condemn this barbaric and horrific attack. I am shocked at this senseless and cold-blooded act of violence where many innocents lost their lives. Irrespective of political affiliation, religion, caste, and creed now is the time to stand united against this dastardly act and bring the culprits to book.

Just at a time when the valley inmates were beginning to breathe freely again with tourism picking up comes this horrifying incident. My Kashmiri friends are mortified that innocent tourists who were visiting their state were targetted. They stand united with the rest of us in deeply condemning the incident and seeking justice.

SONU SOOD

Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir’s Pahalgam. Terrorism should not have any place in a civilized world and this dastardly act is unacceptable. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their dear ones and prayers for early recovery of those who are injured. Om Sai Ram.

GAURAV CHAKRABARTY

Innocent lives lost to hatred.

SUBASHREE GANGULY

Heartbroken.

SAURAV DAS

Catch them. Kill them.

RITESH SIDWANI

The loss of innocent lives of civilians and tourists is beyond devastating. Violence like this has no place in any society. Praying for the families who’ve lost loved ones and for all those affected. Let’s stand united against hatred and terror. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.

RANIEETA DASH

I have no words to describe the monstrosity of the incident, just as I have no words to offer as condolences to the ones who have lost their loved ones in the horrific Pahalgam attack. Their loss for the bereaved families is irreparable. My prayers for the departed souls.

Barbaric terrorists do not deserve mercy and ought to be shot dead. Lord Krishna played the flute and advocated peace but He also wielded the Sudarshan Chakra when it came to punish offenders.

SANDIPTA SEN

People were at Pahalgam to celebrate life -a newly-married couple’s honeymoon, a family’s peaceful break and together-time. It was a little escape to the mountains to breathe, to smile, and to return feeling renewed and refreshed again.

Instead, they faced the unthinkable, something you would never wish to encounter — terror, violence, and loss of the worst kind.

This attack wasn’t just on a location, it was an attack on the deep values of peace, humanity, and love. It was on little children, doting parents, in-love couples, happy friends — all at Pahalgam trying to make memories for a lifetime.

For the victims and their families, I have no words, only prayers. Wishing more power to everyone who is affected. May you find the strength to heal, and may justice find its way to you.

In his words –

Krishnendu Mitra of Kolkata was holidaying when the attack happened. He is still stuck there and sends us an account from Pahalgam. Here are his words: The situation here is truly devastating. I came here on a holiday on April 17, 2025, looking forward to creating some beautiful and lasting memories. Then the attack happened. At the moment, I am clueless how things will unfold because everyone – civilians and tourists – is pretty shaken up. How will we come out of we have just witnessed? However, I have big faith in our Indian Army. The personnel are working round-the-clock and tirelessly on the ground and I truly believe that with their efforts we all will come out of this nightmarish situation.
